송윤령은 일상에서 마주한 풍경과 기억에 상상 덧붙여 재구성합니다. 재구성한 장면을 유리로 표현합니다.

유리 가마 성형 기법과 유리 블로잉 기법을 중심으로 평면과 입체를 넘나드는 작업을 이어가며 평면과 오브제를 통해 이야기와 감정을 담아내고 있습니다. 작품이 누군가의 기억과 감정을 비추는 작은 풍경이 되기를 바랍니다.

〈무지개 잡기- 테이블웨어 시리즈〉

〈무지개 잡기〉 시리즈는 무지개를 목격하고 따라가본 경험에 상상을 더해 재구성한 작업입니다. 폭풍우, 빗길, 새벽빛 등 여정의 장면을 통해 보이지 않는 목적지를 향해 나아가는 희망과 호기심을 담습니다.

이번 <원두막으로의 초대> 전시에서는 <무지개잡기> 시리즈에 등장한 장면을 유리 블로잉 기법을 활용하여 테이블웨어로 제작했습니다. 시리즈의 이미지를 재해석하여 작품 속 풍경을 일상 가까이에서 경험할 수 있도록 하였으며 감상의 대상을 사용하는 오브제로 확장하고자 하였습니다.

Yunyeong Song reconstructs everyday landscapes and memories by weaving them together with imagination, transforming these reimagined scenes into glass.

Working primarily with Pâte de Verre and glass blowing techniques, she creates works that move between two dimensional and three dimensional forms. Through glass panels and sculptural objects, she explores narratives and emotions rooted in personal experience. She hopes her works become small landscapes that reflect the memories and emotions of those who encounter them.

Artist's Note – Catching the Rainbow: Tableware Series

The Catching the Rainbow series is based on the artist's experience of seeing a rainbow and following it, reimagined through the lens of imagination. Scenes from the journey—including stormy weather, rain-soaked roads, and the first light of dawn—express hope and curiosity as one moves toward an unseen destination.

In this exhibition, these scenes have been reinterpreted as glass tableware using the glass blowing technique. By translating imagery from the original series into functional objects, the work brings its landscapes into everyday life and expands the experience of viewing into one of use, inviting people to encounter the narrative through daily interaction.
