민화 까치호랑이의 해학적인 매력에 빠져 시작한 조형 작업은 백자 작업만 해오던 저에게 새로운 즐거움이었습니다. 

그 마음이 많은 분들께 전해졌는지 작품 앞에서 미소 짓는 모습을 보곤 합니다. '즐거움을 주는 작업을 하고 싶다'던 초심이 실현되는 순간입니다.
동물을 좋아하고 그들과 교감하는 감정을 흙과 민화라는 매체를 통해 담아냈습니다.
미소만으로도 충분한 하루하루, 이 작품들이 좋은 감정을 일깨우는 계기가 되기를 바랍니다.

The sculptural work I began after falling in love with the humorous charm of the magpie and tiger in folk paintings brought me new joy, having worked solely with white porcelain before. Perhaps my feelings reached many people, as they often smile when viewing my work. It is a moment when my original aspiration to create work that brings joy comes to fruition. I have expressed my love for animals and the emotions of connecting with them through the mediums of clay and folk painting. In days where a smile alone is enough, I hope these works awaken positive emotions.
